Water quality and temperature are just as important. Use filtered or spring water for a cleaner flavor profile. Steeping temperatures vary by tea type:

White & green teas: 160–180°F (71–82°C)
Oolong teas: 180–200°F (82–93°C)
Black & herbal teas: 200–212°F (93–100°C)
